Description:

Defence & Aerospace Projects

  • £60,000 - £70,000 basic salary

Our client is an engineering business in Runcorn, they are well established and growing rapidly. You will manage the company projects from a top level, this will include two in the aerospace industry and three in defence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for projects in Aerospace, Military, Marine and Industrial applications.
  • Lead and manage the projects from conception to delivery, in a safe manner to the specified functional criteria, goals, and objectives compliant with AS9100, all relevant Client, regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Manage and report project progress in line with budget.
  • Ensure all key project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Ensure Health Safety, Environment & Security are considered at times during the project, in all locations where work is being carried out.
  • Drive budgets, schedules, dependency analysis, risk management, and risk mitigation
  • Provide regular project review updates.
  • Liaise directly with external material and resource suppliers.

Candidate Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant project or program management experience
  • Experience in the defence or aerospace industries
  • Living commutable to Runcorn, you could like in Liverpool, Chester, Warrington, Widnes, Lymm, Northwich, Ellesmere Port, Knutsford, Winsford etc.
