We’re seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our high impact strategic projects!
Further, you will lead a dynamic team and drive the creation and realization of innovative ideas from concept to proof-of-concepts. Your team consists of researchers, subject experts, product managers and new concept designers. Your focus will be on the critical phase that spans from idea to prototype, ensuring smooth execution and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. You will also be responsible for the product development phase ensuring crossing the chasm between Product business traction and Business Maturity.
Your strategic thinking, leadership skills and ability to navigate through uncertainty will drive the successful realization of groundbreaking concepts. You will drive project planning, execution using Scrum methods and ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget agreement. Your ability to manage cross-functional and globally located teams, align project goals and ensure seamless collaboration will be instrumental in bringing visionary concepts to life.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields is required. Master’s degree or Project Management Process certification (e.g. IPMA, PMP or Prince2) is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, specifically in leading new product development projects. Scrum certification is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and resources effectively.
• Strong understanding of design and engineering.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration and building strong relationships.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving project goals while overcoming challenges.
• Previous experience in renewable energy is advantageous.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

• Lead and orchestrate the entire project lifecycle of new concept development at an early stage, from idea generation to proof of concept including feasibility analysis.
• Work closely with and lead globally located cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, researchers and market experts, to define project goals, scope and milestone deliverables.
• Develop detailed tailored project plans, timelines and budgets ensuring compliance with milestones and deadlines. You outline iterative phases, resource forecasts, allocation and timeline projections. We are inspired by and use Scrum methods as an innovation process.
• Promote the ideation process, foster an environment that encourages creative thinking and innovative solutions.
• Effectively allocate resources, coordinate tasks and responsibilities among team members to optimize productivity.
• Drive the concept ideation process, foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the team.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Establish clear communication channels within the team and with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and status reports.
• Facilitate regular team meetings, reviews, and presentations to ensure alignment and engagement.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential challenges that may impact project success.
