We are seeking a technical project manager to lead and ensure that this project is completed meeting our customer and strategic requirements and timeline.
Responsibilities:
- Own and drive the technical schedule for this software project, taking inputs from technical team, distribute work with support of team leads.
- Work with team leads/architects to define both high level and detail schedule, defining phases to meet customer deliverables.
- Track task completion for team contributors, identifying areas in which the schedule and project needs attention and improvements.
- Work to resolve schedule bottlenecks with team and management and reduce critical path to accelerate project success.
- Track project collaterals using industry standard tools, JIRA, Confluence, Office365, GIT, Sharepoint. Ensure the team has access to needed materials. Actively contribute to the generation of such materials.
- Define project KPI to communicate project status and issues to our executive staff. Keep senior staff updated on project status, both in verbal and written forms.
- Track resources used (budget and/or resources) to complete project, utilizing industry standard project tracking tools (burn down charts, etc)
- Drive the team and continue to conform to CI/CD/devOps process, identifying areas of improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, with 5+ years of experience in driving technical projects to success.
- Experience working with manufacturing customers or users on industrial software use cases with high volume data requirements.
- Experience in successfully completing projects in cross functional, highly distributed work environments.
- Experience in risk assessment and reduction/mitigation of risks to ensure project delivery and success, using risk matrix or other tools.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, electronics manufacturing/assembly is a plus.
Pay Range: CAD $110,000.00 - CAD $124,000.00 /Yr
