Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE

As our new Senior Project Manager you will join our Major Projects department, which is a part of our global Energy Transition division. You will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving a diverse portfolio of significant initiatives. Your strategic vision and project management expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful execution of major projects aligned with our commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation.

YOUR KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and implementing project management processes tailored to the unique challenges of major energy transition projects, with a preference for candidates with an background in Oil & Gas, Power plants, Process plants or Energy Intensive Industries.
  • Taking ownership of project-level planning, execution, and delivery within the Power-to-X (Hydrogen), Carbon capture, Bio energy ( Power plants ), Bio fuels, Offshore Energy (Offshore Substations), or Energy Intensive Industries sectors.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overarching organizational goals.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation for major projects, including project plans, schedules, and budgets, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, identifying and addressing risks and challenges specific to the energy transition landscape for major initiatives.
  • Fostering strategic relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance project outcomes and promoting sustainable practices in major projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements for major projects.
  • Providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership on advancing our position in the energy transition market, particularly in the specified sectors.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record (10+ years) in successfully managing large and complex projects within the Energy sector.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of energy transition technologies, policies, and market trends.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and software, with a keen eye for incorporating sustainable practices.
  • Experience in navigating regulatory frameworks and fostering partnerships in the energy transition landscape.
  • Demonstrated experience within at least one of the specified markets: Power-to-X (Hydrogen), Bioenergy, Offshore Energy (Offshore Substations), or Energy Intensive Industries
