For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager with experience in new store openings. It would be prefered if the consultant has experience with store openings in US. The consultant must be located in Denmark.
The Network Expansion Program, which encompasses New Store Openings (NSO), Forward Integrations (FWI), Store Relocations, and Store Refits, has evolved to involve multiple actions related to the store lifecycle.
EXPERIENCE
- Project management (Very senior level)
EXPERIENCE WITH RETAIL AND NEW STORE OPENINGS IS A MUST.
- Coordinating the technology deliverable in North America which includes coordination with different teams and vendors (TCS) as well as logistics of hardware and alignment with the local business.
- Continuous and repeatable rollouts
- Process optimization
- Engaging in discussions regarding internet installation, hardware procurement and coordination, etc.
- Having had experience in store, warehouse or office openings may be useful as this requires a structured and repeatable step by step approach and close orchestration and follow up.
- Must be fluent in English
Responsibilities:
- The process largely depends on third-party vendors, with significant local team involvement and different vendors for NAM, APAC, Brazil and ANZ.
- The current procedure starts with a cluster-filled form and involves hardware requests, field engineer bookings, and internet setup coordination.
- The program is not delivered by a single project team but as part of a matrix organization, which the PM will need to lead and collaborate with.
- Managing network expansion (technical enablement of store openings and refits) in North America.
- Work flexibly between US (NYC) and CPH time zones. (It should not be needed to travel to US)
