EXPERIENCE
- Experience collaborating with the Sales team to implement programs and projects
- PMP certification or active pursuit preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of project management standards and best practices (e.g., PMBOK).
- Familiarity with various IT project methodologies and life cycles.
- Understanding of industry standards (e.g., ISO, CMM, Six Sigma).
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and FIS products/services.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and auxiliary tools.
- Strong skills in managing project budgets and timelines.
- Effective negotiation, analysis, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with executives and set clear expectations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive assignments.
Responsibilities:
- Working within the Sales support team, responsible for the execution of sales programs
- Directing and managing day-to-day operations of the PMO, covering both technical and non-technical programs.
- Guiding personnel managing the organization’s project portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and goals.
- Developing and enforcing project management best practices, processes, and policies.
- Collaborating with leadership and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and develop projects.
- Ensuring efficient project management processes, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.
- Providing executive management with resource forecasts and program status updates.
- Supervising project and program managers to ensure projects meet scope, quality, time, and cost requirements.
- Performing other related duties as needed.
