We are currently seeking a high calibre individual to join the team in the role of Senior Project Manager
The role will be assigned to change initiatives within SSv (Securities Services) Strategic Execution, Regulatory, Tax and Mandatory (RTM) portfolio delivery team.
The purpose of this role is to carry out the programme management for a number of project or workstreams concurrently and / or may manage elements of a strategic programme managed by a Programme Manager. The role is also designed to provide leadership and management, where required, to one or more project managers.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide or support high quality project delivery services in line with the strategic objectives of the business and work with the business to define and agree project structure and benefits and to confirm that outputs and outcomes will support their realisation.
  • Create, implement and operate within an appropriate governance framework which aligns to the wider Group governance framework.
  • Define detailed project delivery plan; drives progress against the project plan; understands, challenges and proactively manages the cost position; and acts to mitigate potential cost or time delays.
  • Identify and secure appropriate resources to work on the project; defines clear roles and responsibilities for all team members including specific responsibility for production of all deliverables.
  • Lead the management/delivery of change through establishing effective relationships with key stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following:

  • Proven and demonstrable background as a Project Manager/Business Analyst is paramount
  • Expert in change management and project/programme delivery is essential in addition to detailed change delivery experience from within a complex financial services environment
  • Securities Services knowledge, with exposure to fund admin, custody and asset management businesses is ideal, with particular experience in billing and invoicing being highly advantageous
  • Experience in management of complex analysis and solution mapping, as-is process analysis and working with technology partners
  • Self-starter who can operate on own initiative with proven ability to operate and influence stakeholders at all levels
