Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all members of a project team work collaboratively and individually to create a deliverable that meets the clients’ or stakeholders’ expectations. Duties and responsibilities of a Senior Project Manager include:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with the senior leadership team and internal stakeholders
- Develop, maintain, communicate and enforce standards for key projects activities across all applicable project management teams including:
- project initiation (charter, business case, and project plan).
- project reporting and communication requirements at level project closure.
- Produce and maintain a project plan while conducting the project within constraints of the framework used by different delivery teams
- Developing full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Estimate the resources and participants required to achieve project goals
- Ensure proper financial management of the project
- Ensure proper risk management by documenting all risks and employing an effective mitigation strategy
- Has experience supervising and working with multiple teams in different cross functional business areas
- Ensure a continuous improvement culture is established and encouraged.
- Understands, performs, and manages all issues in a manner that is consistent with Sentrex Mission, Vision, Values, and brand
A Day in the Life (What you will do here):
- Build and foster relationships with our key stakeholders and business partners.
- Thoroughly understanding our business and technical needs.
- Providing strategic guidance to internal teams for the smooth operation and advancement of the program.
- Provide day-to-day project management responsibility for the assigned program.
- Create project deliverables such as project scope, budgeting, plans, estimates and resource plans.
- Manage the tracking and control of the project plan including changes, risks, and actions.
- Provide regular communication on the status of projects to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive efficiencies and optimize timelines and development throughout the life of projects.
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors and researchers.
- Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiency and maximize deliverable outputs.
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans.
