WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Responsible for managing complex projects as assigned
- Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
- Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization
- Establish an overall project plan from project initiation to business training and handoff, in compliance with defined project management methodology.
- Management of cross-team dependencies, including scoping, planning, prioritization, escalation, capacity planning, and cross-functional alignment.
- Leads a cross-functional project team in executing assigned tasks and coordinating effort of internal and external project team members, ensuring tasks and deliverables are complete on time, within budget, and delivering the promised business functionality
- Identify, assess, rank, and track all project risks and issues ensuring mitigation requirements are clearly documented and if required escalated to program leadership.
- Proactively evaluates project activities, builds contingency plans, executes corrective action, and monitors issue resolution to mitigate risks
- Work closely with the Senior Manager, Project Management Office in the design and implement effective tools to measure individual project and PMO performance
- Contribute to improved levels of employee satisfaction and company success by motivating team members and helping to develop their knowledge and skills
- Financial Management - develop and actively manage a budget and resource plan.
- Provide clear, consistent, and timely messaging; both verbal and written; within the team and to business leadership; facilitate effective and timely meetings
- Report all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Technical Complaints (PTC) immediately or as soon as possible upon becoming aware of the event as per current policies and procedures.
