YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS

  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Able to perform business development activities.
  • Willing and able to travel occasionally.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Team player with experience building, leading, and managing a project team.
  • Technical experience in heavy industrial process market disciplines (Pulp, paper, packaging, tissue, building products, food and beverage, oil & gas and thermal generation).
  • PMP Designation is preferred.

Education and Experience 20 years of project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business or Related Fields.
  • Experience managing at least five consulting projects with minimum consulting fees of $1M.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Projects are executed in compliance to our established Project Delivery Framework.
  • Lead project team(s) and manage project (s) to the approved scope, budget and schedule.
  • Establish project plans, create forecasts, and evaluate the project schedule and budget for performance and accuracy throughout all phases of the project.
  • Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present Project Performance Reports to Internal and External Stakeholders.
  • Review and track all contracts, invoices, and payments to all contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors.
  • Establish and implement appropriate risk and change management processes.
  • Evaluate, advise on and assist in resolving any disputes or claims that may arise.
