Trillium Health Partners is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Health System Innovation (HSI) team within the Institute for Better Health. The Senior Project Manager will have a priority focus on leading and supporting multiple projects/initiatives within the HSI portfolio. Projects may include system-level and organizational-level innovations, leading change management efforts and designing new processes or models that can be scaled provincially and nationally for impact. This role will have exposure to high-profile projects involving multiple organizations and will be instrumental in supporting the development of new innovation processes and products at THP. The Senior Project Manager will also play a key role in fostering relationships a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, frontline clinicians, community partners and scientists.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Successful completion of a university degree in business, clinical/health informatics or health-related discipline or relevant experience
  • Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in project management in health care environments such as hospitals, government or private sector required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred but not required
  • Previous experience running multiple concurrent projects tackling challenges with a high-level of ambiguity
  • Strong understanding of design thinking, agile and other innovation methodology is an asset
  • Experience working with frontline stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Experience in technology, innovation, commercialization, procurement and business development is an asset
  • Experience supporting quality and process improvement projects is an asset
  • Excellent analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources
  • Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs of project, governance tables and stakeholders
  • Effective interpersonal communications skills and ability to successfully build relationships with stakeholders including senior leaders, scientists, research staff and frontline clinicians
  • Ability to synthesize and present information in a concise manner that is easily understandable and engaging for the intended audience including executives, clinicians etc. through presentation decks, pitches and other project materials

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management leadership and mentorship to staff across the department, including the development and use of standard tools and processes
  • Manage all aspects of a project including planning, coordination, co-design, evaluation, and budget management
  • Manage multiple work streams, support governance and integrate key insights and strategies across to develop overarching approaches to innovative initiatives
  • Independently lead and facilitate meetings with multiple stakeholders
  • Develop and pro-actively plan for meeting agendas and develop project documentation including proposals, project plans and budgets
  • Monitor and report on progress, risks and issues associated with the project to all stakeholders and escalate as appropriate
  • Provide strategies for risk mitigation and resolution where appropriate and work with stakeholders to implement as required
  • Create and implement change management plans that minimize resistance to change and ensure smooth adoption
  • Engage and communicate with stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure resource and project requirements are met and understood
