Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Officer (Communications) reports to the Manager, TAFE Assurance and leads on key stakeholder communication activities and projects for the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD). This role requires an excellent writer and collaborative teammate who can operate in a fast-moving environment and isn’t afraid to pitch in to get the job done.
The role provides general support in developing and delivering high-quality communication products that showcase the OTCD, and other stakeholders work and initiatives. Contributing to the creation and implementation of communication strategies, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on projects and events, and contributing to sponsorship activities. The role also involves speechwriting, communications planning, maintaining accurate records of processes, and supporting digital platform updates to ensure consistency and alignment with organisational objectives.
The role also supports the administrative side of communications-related activities and works collaboratively with the DJSIR Strategic Communications team to deliver joint objectives.
