Senior Property Accountant

Robert Half has partnered with a real estate firm in Boulder in search of a Senior Property Accountant! The Senior Property Accountant position is paying $70,000-$95,000!
The Senior Property Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Assist with Monthly Closing
Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and reports
Willingness to take on new assignments/duties and project based assignments
Ability to book journal entries accurately and reconcile accounts.
Assist with preparation of Monthly Financial Statement Reporting to Owners
Process Owner Distributions after Controller’s Calculations and Oversight
Ability to create and provide ad hoc reporting for Internal Reporting and Owners
Ensures compliance and accuracy of A/P for approval of payments
Backup Support and Guidance to A/P and A/R Team Members
Security Deposit return processing during turnover with A/R Specialist
Assist properties with overall accounting needs and questions.
Eye for improvement of internal processes and workflows and have ability to create and take the necessary steps to implement changes for improved efficiency and automation.
Strong Problem-Solving Abilities to Investigate, Clean Up, and Resolve discrepancies and errors

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SENIOR PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT INCLUDE:

Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years of accounting experience
Property management experience
Yardi or AppFolio experience is preferred
