Description:

  • High-Profile Client Side Employer
  • Progression Opportunity
  • Flexibility
High profile, large corporate business with exceptional high-quality estate.
Are you an experienced Property Management Surveyor with a passion for optimising property portfolios? Do you want to play a key role in managing a diverse property portfolio for a well-established organization? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Property Management Surveyor. In this client-side role, you will manage a full range of property management functions across the Group’s estate—ensuring operational efficiency, legal compliance, and financial effectiveness at every stage of the property life cycle. If you are a dynamic professional with a strong background in property management and lease negotiations, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Property Acquisition & Portfolio Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the Group’s space needs. You will be responsible for acquiring and managing properties that meet operational, financial, IT, and legal requirements.
  • Space Optimisation & Occupancy Planning: Drive strategies to minimize vacant office space and reduce financial liabilities. Proactively explore ways to optimize existing assets, generate rental income, and manage occupancy levels to maximize the value of the property portfolio.
  • Lease Management: Take the lead in negotiating lease terms, managing renewals, and coordinating key lease events. You will ensure all lease agreements comply with legal standards and are aligned with financial and operational goals.
  • Contract & Service Provider Oversight: Manage relationships with external service providers, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with contracts, budgets, and Group requirements. Monitor performance against service level agreements (SLAs) to maintain high standards of property management.
  • Financial Management & Reporting: Work closely with the Property Finance team to track property-related expenditures, including rents, service charges, and other costs. You’ll support budget planning and financial forecasting to maintain the financial health of the property portfolio.
  • Project Management: Assist with the management and delivery of short-term projects such as refurbishments, fit-outs, or office relocations. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with financial expectations.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all properties in the portfolio comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, property laws, and environmental regulations.

About You:

  • RICS Accreditation: You are a qualified member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or working towards it.
  • Educational Background: You have a degree in Property Management, Surveying, Real Estate, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
  • Property Management Experience: You have a strong track record in managing both occupied and vacant properties, with specific experience in lease negotiations, space optimization, and managing external contractors or service providers.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in Microsoft Office (2010 or later) and familiar with property management software such as Qube or similar platforms.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You have experience collaborating with internal teams (e.g., legal, finance) and external partners (e.g., agents, contractors), ensuring property strategies align with business needs.
  • Knowledge of Regulations: You possess a strong understanding of property laws and regulations, including lease agreements, health and safety, and commercial property management best practices.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: You have a solution-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
