Description:

Harvard Developments has an immediate opening for a Senior Property Manager with accountability to manage a portfolio of A Class office assets in Calgary. The primary responsibilities would be to carry out in a profitable manner the complete and satisfactory delivery of Harvard’s duties under the service or property management agreement, in keeping with the company’s guidelines and property owner’s directives.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE JOB:

  • Proven leadership and supervisory experience;
  • A minimum of ten years commercial real estate management experience, with increasing accountabilities;
  • Exceptional customer service and hospitality orientation, with the ability to maintain strong relationships;
  • A strong understanding of financial statements, and contract law;
  • Command of the English language with superior written and oral communication, and computer literacy skills;
  • Excellent organizational and negotiating skills;
  • A post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing or Finance, with demonstrated career certification as a CPM, RPA, or equivalent;
  • The relevant Provincial real estate license or the willingness to acquire it within one year of employment; and
  • Valid drivers license with clean abstract and access to vehicle for business use.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary portfolio team to achieve desired standards of quality and performance in administration, financial management, operations, maintenance, marketing, and reporting;
  • Provide superior customer service with a strong focus on hospitality, customer experience, and service excellence;
  • Monitoring financial performance to achieve profitability and performance targets for both the property and the business enterprise;
  • Build strong and collaborative relationships with the clients, tenants and vendor community;
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the company’s ESG initiatives affecting the portfolio;
  • Ensure compliance with corporate HSE program throughout the portfolio;
  • Build collaborative relationships throughout the local and national industry in support of business growth and retention;
  • Work closely with the Senior Director in respect to lease management and required client documentation. Work directly with Leasing Agents; and
  • Oversee and assist in coordinating Capital Planning, Tenant Improvements, and Landlord’s Work with Project Management & Operations Teams.
