Wigan Talking Therapies- IAPT Band 6 Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner-permanent position.
An exciting opportunities has arisen for a full time Senior Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner within Wigan Talking Therapies. This opportunity will enable the successful applicant to work alongside the leadership team of a high performing Talking Therapy service while being supported and supervised by senior staff.

Situated in the North West of England, the service covers the Wigan area, and affords good transport links to both Manchester and beyond.
The post holder will support the delivery of the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) delivered interventions within Wigan Talking Therapies. The role will offer opportunity to influence the development of Step 2 provision and develop innovative ways of meeting relevant population needs. There will be scope for audit, evaluation, networking and liaising with the wider health and social care system including voluntary agencies.
The clinical aspect of the role will include 1:1 sessions (remote and face to face), screening, C-CBT, group work and telephone assessment with patients with common mental health problems. The successful applicant will be required to work one evening per week.
