ABOUT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable web applications using Python, Django, and related technologies.
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve application performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, design, QA) to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Python, Django, and related technologies, and proactively explore and implement new technologies and best practices.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and provide support to end-users.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies.
• Mentor junior developers and foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

ROLE LOCATION

This is a hybrid role so you’ll be based from our Cwmbran office twice each week to work and collaborate with colleagues. There’s plenty of free carparking onsite.
