Overview: emagine Consulting are partnered with a Tier 1 investment bank, seeking a skilled Lead Python Developer to drive innovation and excellence in software development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Python Developer, particularly within the financial services sector.
- Experience with Quartz is preferred; familiarity with Athena and SecDB is also advantageous.
- Track record of working on greenfield projects from concept to deployment.
- Strong communication skills, capable of interfacing effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities:
- Python Development: Leverage your deep Python expertise to design and implement high-quality solutions.
- Technology Ecosystems: Experience with the Quartz ecosystem is a plus; familiarity with Athena and SecDB is also beneficial.
- Strategic Thinking: Bring a strategic perspective to projects, offering forward-thinking solutions and driving innovation.
- Business Integration: Work closely with front office teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Risk and Modelling: Utilize your knowledge in risk management and financial modeling to support and enhance decision-making processes.
