JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior QA Analyst is an integral member of the Quality Assurance team and is responsible for testing Viv’s web and mobile applications to ensure proper functionality while adhering to defined project timelines. Through the use of a variety of tools, the Senior QA Analyst works to continuously improve software products and applications. This role involves leading testing projects, writing and executing test cases, logging defects, and investigating issues. The Senior QA Analyst is involved “hands-on” with the development team, ensures that all testing is thoroughly completed and that the software functions with the highest standard of quality possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of Product under test and associated requirements.
  • End-to-end testing native mobile apps and web platform including creating test plans, test case development, test execution, and defect remediation.
  • Accurately groom stories so that they account for testing and quality metrics by using your knowledge and experience to help our Scrum teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with Project stakeholders to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, design test cases, and create testing artifacts (Test Strategy/Test Plan).
  • Ensure end-to-end quality of our products and services by identifying and executing the appropriate testing strategies.
  • Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage and effective collaboration; recommending changes to release plans, as needed, to address critical quality issues.
  • Execute test cases within the agreed upon timelines ensuring the application is performing as expected.
  • Analyze test results, investigate, report, and track product issues, thereby improving overall quality.
