o Work Experience:

• Programming experience in Java or other language
• Test Automation experience of Asynchronous web application protocols like WebSockets
• Test Automation experience of Chat Commerce Applications
• Git or other source control management tools
• AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud-based infrastructures
• Microservices architecture testing
• Integration with telecommunications service provider

o Knowledge and Abilities:

• Manual and automated testing using tools such as Selenium, Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, TestNG (preferred)
• Testing web services and APIs with XML and JSON payloads (preferred)
• BDD and Cucumber (preferred)
• JIRA, Confluence, and bug tracking tools such as TestFLO (preferred)
• Reporting tools such as Allure (preferred)
• Build and automation tools such as Jenkins and Maven (preferred)
• Databases SQL language and scripting (PostgreSQL, MySQL) (preferred

PURPOSE

We are looking for a pacesetting, creative and talented testing automation specialist with strong scripting skills. The purpose of this role is to work closely with Test Management to use ensure high quality and efficient testing practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

o Apply various testing methods and tools to technically test Clickatell’s products and integration to other applications and services
o Assist in testing process for major feature releases, and finding opportunities for automation
o Write and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression and end-to-end testing
o Ensure automated test frameworks are integrated into the software development process
o Convert existing manual regression tests into automated test solutions
o Partner with multiple engineering teams and other QA engineers to understand and fill gaps in our testing ecosystem
o Identify and provide assessments of potential risks affecting schedule or quality, escalating matters to management and relevant stakeholders as needed

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE

o Computer Science Degree (preferred)
o 5+ years of experience in Automation framework development using Java/selenium with exposure to TDD, BDD (Essential)
