REQUIREMENTS

• A relevant technical/computing degree or an equivalent technical background.
• Experience of working on at least one consumer or enterprise software project.
• More than three years’ experience in a QA engineer role.
• Expertise in manual, automated, regression, release testing.
• The ability to develop and implement automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with software development best practices.
• Performance or Security testing are desirable but not essential.
• Experience of working with a lean, agile approach.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior QA Engineer, you bring expertise in both automated and manual testing, spanning functional and non-functional areas. Your proficiency with tools like Cypress, Selenium, and Postman demonstrates your deep knowledge of web and automated testing frameworks.
In this role, your skills will be instrumental in advancing our product’s development. Our platform includes modern web applications, APIs, an iOS app, a desktop app, and more.
This is a full-time position with Bipsync. We offer a hybrid working arrangement, combining the flexibility to work from home on a periodic basis along with collaborative in-office days in our Cardiff office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership and mentoring to students and new employees.
• Plan and execute test scripts for new and existing product features.
• Contribute to automated test suites using a variety of languages.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues/bugs and assist with their resolution.
• Contribute ideas to improve product design.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies.
• Analyse customer feedback to improve features through iteration.
