Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer to build and expand our certification test suite, ensuring compliance with current and upcoming specifications. This role will involve thorough analysis and testing to guarantee that our devices are fully certified and meet all necessary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Test Suite Development: Build and enhance the test suite to certify devices for compatibility.
• Coverage Assurance: Ensure comprehensive coverage of all specification requirements through certification tests, aiming for near-100% test coverage.
• Backport Enhancements: Backport enhancements from newly developed certification tests to previous test suites to maintain feature parity across all certification levels.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and thorough understanding of specification requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of test cases, test results, and any issues identified during the testing process.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in existing test suites and processes, and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role.
• Experience working with Python
• Familiarity with Matter specifications and device certification processes is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Experience with test automation tools and methodologies is advantageous.
