Description:

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior QA Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina. Our client is a comprehensive tax filing software meant for tax preparers that offers a wide range of features, including the ability to print tax forms in English and Spanish, return archiving, automated data flows, and helpful software tutorials. The company, founded in 1977, provides software solutions to over 70,000 tax and accounting firms that file over 40 million tax returns annually. They help Americans maximize their tax benefits through user-friendly digital and downloadable products. The modern strategy and product development approach relies on user insights, rapid testing, and a focus on delivering value to end-users.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience with manual testing.
  • Experience working with desktop applications.
  • Experience leading a test development effort.
  • Strong knowledge of testing concepts (functional/non-functional testing, unit testing, system testing, regression testing, defect life cycle).
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management Systems (CMS) like Jira.
  • Expertise in Problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience with programming language C#.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, execute, and analyze manual test cases to streamline processes.
  • Provide regular and accurate reports, offering valuable insights into test results and the overall quality of the software.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail in test execution, defect reporting, and documentation.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with automation testing.
