Description:
YOUR MISSION
With immediate effect, we are looking to hire a Senior QA Software Engineer – Data Science [f/m/d] into our data science team. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality assurance and testing of our instrument data analysis software for image data produced by our instruments.
This is a full-time role, based in the company’s headquarters in Monheim am Rhein in Germany. It comes with the opportunity to work with other sites and external partners around the world. You will report to the Head of Data Science and Computer Engineering who is also based in Monheim.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with cross-functional project teams and with contractors to ensure the quality of the software platform for multi-modal microscopy images
- Collect requirements from project teams
- Conceptualize, plan, create and own QA procedures
- Support V&V activities
- Train and support project team members to ensure that QC test requirements are understood and executed accordingly
- Work effectively with internal and external software developers in achieving shared project goals and timelines
- Responsible for personal work planning against agreed-upon deliverables
