Description:
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior QC Technician with a strong track record in their work to join our team in Singapore. Responsibilities:
1. Provide quality control support through timely inspection/verification of materials, products and processes in Asia Distribution Centre (ADC) and Global Repair Centre (GRC) to achieve compliance and continual quality improvement objectives.
2. Perform products/processes acceptance activities base on approved and released specifications and documentation as define in respective SOP. Example of such activities are:
i) Incoming Inspection of raw materials and inbound shipments
ii) Review quality issue with inbound shipment
iii) Outgoing Inspection of Finished Goods
iv) Assist and support calibration system control for test equipment
3. Compile inspection records, approved COC/COA to facilitate traceability for demonstration of product compliance as well as customer compliant data for analysis by QA/QC Engineer.
4. Provide management with quality data and trends in product performance in meeting customer requirements by providing and monitoring of:
i) Non-conforming materials
ii) ADC and GRC Outgoing
iii) Return Manufacturing Authorization (RMA)
5. Participate and carry out systems and procedures are compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO13485, ISO14971, FDA 21CFR Part 820, ISO 45001 and Medical Device Single Audit program (MDSAP) requirements.
6.Support in audits preparations.
7. Support plant-wide activities and special projects, as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QC Technician in a similar role
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks
- Motivated individuals with a strong drive to succeed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to determine root causes of quality issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to strictly adhere to all quality control protocols and procedures
