Our client offers software and consulting services in taxation in the United States. For our project, you will help drive and implement the automation strategy for the new product architecture which is based on, microservices platforms and distributed systems in the cloud.
Who are we looking for?

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Education and/or experience — Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
• 4+ years of experience in automated testing;
• Experience managing automation strategies and testing frameworks;
• Good knowledge of how to use/maintain automation and testing tools;
• Knowledge of Postman and other tools for automation in cross-browser web testing;
• Experience designing well-structured test plans and test cases;
• Good communication skills;
• Strong work ethics;
• Detail-oriented;
• Good problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work in a team and independently;
• Ability to effectively multi-task and adapt quickly;
• Intermediate (B2) English or above; Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Quality Assurance Testing Engineer, you will utilize automation and testing software to create and test different software packages to ensure they meet quality standards for a product in the financial industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and maintain the automation strategy that better suits the client’s needs;
• Create and execute comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases using automation and testing tools;
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test cases for multiple product areas (UI, APIs, Infrastructure, etc.);
• Incorporate automated testing in the product Release process;
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies;
• Execute both functional and non-functional testing as needed;
• Carry out acceptance testing of features, changes, and bug fixes to ensure delivered functionality meets expectations, requirements, and design intent;
• Conduct regression testing to ensure the development of new features does not break existing software functionality or introduce new bugs;
• Understand and analyze user stories, requirements, or product specifications;
• Mentor other team members;
• Meet deadlines and commitments;
• Provide suggestions to enhance and improve the software;
• Keep automation documentation up to date;
• Create and present status reports for the automation strategy.
