Job Description
The Project:
HumeLink is a new 500 kV transmission line which will connect Wagga Wagga, Bannaby and Maragle. It is one of the state’s largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 365 km of proposed new transmission lines, and new or upgraded infrastructure at four locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and coordinate quality engineers
  • Assist with the establishment of Project Plans and procedures
  • Liaise with stakeholders to resolve issues relating to quality and completion.
  • Assist with the development of asset registers and liaising with stakeholders to obtain the respective approvals from relevant representatives.
  • Liaise with auditors and ensure the execution of corrective actions is put in place.
  • Assist with the ongoing use of the Project collaboration system.
  • Monitor the completion of quality records.
  • Assist with the establishment of quality and completion performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality standards and legislation.
  • Assist in the preparation of and review quality and completion documentation and records.
  • Determine appropriate construction methods, materials and quality standard, and review construction methods and procedures used on project

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Tertiary Qualification in engineering or related discipline
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9000
  • Prior experience in a similar role on a large infrastructure project, civil or energy preferable
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving mindset
  • Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
