VACANCY DESCRIPTION :

Senior Quality Engineer
020463

Responsibilities:

The role of Senior Quality Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end quality assurance primarily for our product Vector, a cashflow forecasting application and service Kensington has built and continues to develop. Vector is a highly complex financial system with billions of computations running behind the scenes. Release quality, accuracy of outputs and speed to deliver is critical for Vector.
This is a highly technical role, and the role holder will need to develop a deep understanding of the Vector functionality and propose and design test strategies. Vector involves integration with machine learning models and has a built in cashflow engine and multiple versioning of models, which means for various model versions the calculation outputs will be different. The test strategy will have to include all the above complexities.
The role holder will need to be able to work independently to consider the testing framework and tools to be used for Vector and build the test framework and unit tests and prepare test reports for each release.
Vector outputs are used for various business requirements across KMC and Barclays, for example product pricing, headcount forecasts and securitisations. The accuracy of calculator outputs is very critical and will affect the overall credibility of the team.
