We are seeking talented and enthusiastic Quality Engineers to join our team and contribute to the Old Oak Common Station project.
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality are met across the Work Packages assigned to you. Overseeing all quality-related activities and documentation, whilst ensuring all documentation is produced on schedule, addressing and resolving non-conformances promptly.
What you’ll be doing

Some key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure quality management is given the highest priority in the delivery of their works to achieve Right First Time.
  • Act as main point of contact for all quality related topics within your Work Packages
  • Support sub-contractor in the development of quality documentation and ensure the review of these documents.
  • Check and inspect the works during progress and on completion to ensure that it has been constructed in line with the Requirements.
  • Ensure Non-conformances are raised in a timely manner by the sub-contractors, and managed effectively to ensure their closure within the agreed timeframe.
  • Support the Quality Manager in maintaining metrics and dashboards to measure performance of Quality.
  • Support the Quality Team in the d ongoing maintenance of the Quality Management System and in promoting Quality on the project.

Who we’re looking for

You will have the following:

  • Practical experience in quality management within the construction industry, preferably on a project-based organization
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the project team members, suppliers, client representatives, and other stakeholders.
  • Technical knowledge and experience relevant to Fibre -reinforced concrete (FRC) works, structural steel, fit-out, MEPH
  • Able to communicate effectively orally and written and influence others including senior management
