Lotus Cars Limited is the manufacturing site of Lotus in the UK. Here we produce all sportscars types such as the Emira and the Evija. To bring the company to the level we want it to be, we are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer - Warranty Auditing in the Quality Department to join us in our manufacturing plant based in Hethel.

SUMMARY:

This role is crucial to deliver class leading process control to the Lotus business. You will play a pivotal role to ensure that our Warranty policy is seamless applied to all global claims for sports car product. Your primary responsibility will be to audit all global warranty claims and co-ordinate with international functions to resolve any potential non-conformances. This is all with the aim to ensure specifications are met with Quality being an essential part if the business’ landscape and the customer being at the core of everything we do.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, authorise, and process warranty claims in line with the product specification and the warranty policy
  • Provide clear and concise data to internal stakeholders
  • Proactively challenge warranty claims not adhering to the warranty policy
  • Follow up on rejected or adjusted claims
  • Communicating effectively to internal stakeholders and external business partners, Lotus regions and dealerships
  • Handle technical enquiries and collaborate with Technical Support teams within a suitable time period
  • Support general product and claim queries
  • Continuous claims monitoring and reporting to internal stakeholders
  • Be able to resolve issues and diffuse difficult situations
  • Be customer focused and display an empathetic and helpful attitude
  • Be business minded to ensure financial targets are achieved leveraging AI techniques to streamline current processes
