In MFT Energy we trade energy to make markets efficient and to facilitate the green transition. We are looking for a Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our ambitious Intraday team with experienced colleagues, who strive to be the best every day.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL SKILLS

  • Have experience from a trading desk - preferably within European Intraday Power
  • Industry experience with machine learning and/or statistical modeling
  • Skilled in Python and can write production-grade code
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Have a curious mind and the courage to take on a steep learning curve
  • The ability to work independently and structure your workload
  • A positive and competitive attitude, but at the same time a valued team player
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, as our company language is English

  • Research new market opportunities
  • Develop new trading strategies using machine learning and market knowledge
  • Contribute to existing trade signal and execution frameworks
  • Benchmark and evaluate external forecast providers
  • Optimize our active trade execution algorithms
  • Acquire and maintain data from external sources
