We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on the A30/A35 project which includes the delivery of routine maintenance alongside asset renewals, improvements and additional assets. This is a great opportunity for a highly collaborative and enthusiastic professional to join and support an area of the business with significant growth potential.
What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have the following accountabilities:

• Support the tendering process by preparing subcontract enquiry documents, tender analysis and recommending the project team in the selection of the most suitable subcontractor/supplier
• Subcontract management including drafting of the subcontracts, assessment of application for payments, change management etc.
• Support the authorisation and submission of project variations and placement of contracts, subcontracts, material and plant orders
• Maintain cost control throughout the life of the contract and take proactive measures to maintain the desired balance between Value and Costs
• Liaise regularly with our supply chain and the wider project team to develop and maintain a good working relationships and resolve issues at the project team level
