We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Manager with Infrastructure experience, who wants to be apart of major programs of work across Victoria. You will be working in a professional and highly successful team who are involved in the largest infrastructure projects across Australia.

In a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Manager role, you will have knowledge in:
- A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and strong technical expertise to ensure the supply chain is aligned with the rights and obligations of the head contract.
- Lead contract negotiations with client and various subcontractors.
- Help/Assist in reviewing monthly contractor payment claim submission for major contracts.
- Measure the project works and submit monthly claims and disputes.
- Undertake quantity measurements, cost planning and quantity surveying as required.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver sound commercial outcomes.
- Ability to identify and implement value engineering initiatives and prepare Bills of Quantities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly commercial reports and plans.
- Strong commercial forecasting (including anticipated final account and cash flow).
- Agree Bill of Quantities rates and final accounts.
- Complete site surveillance reports and diaries and review contractor’s progress reports.
- Liaise with stakeholders i.e. schedulers/planners, finance, risk.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- 8+ experience working in complex, large scale multidisciplinary projects in transport and/or infrastructure related organisations.
- Strong commercial and contracts experience, negotiation and variations.
- Experience in using risk databases and risk management systems including systems/software to support quantitative risk analysis e.g. CURA, @RISK
- High level of attention to detail.
- Able to anticipate and follow-through fully on tasks.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent service.
