Your role: Come join our Operational Design Center, a capability within Global Development Operations, as Senior R&D Data Scientist! Our vision is to bring innovative medicines to patients faster by optimizing clinical study design and operational planning to drive operational effectiveness and efficiency through informed, data-driven decision making. As Senior R&D Data Scientist, you will facilitate the development, evolution and delivery of predictive and proscriptive analytic solutions, including an existing Bayesian causal inference model, to support study feasibility, operational planning and delivery of our portfolio. Also, you will develop predictive models to forecast trial durations, patient recruitment, site and investigator performance, among other more sophisticated models. Through close collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, the incumbent will ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose and deliver actionable insights that will guide strategic decision making and/or unlock operational optimization opportunities. A bold, brave, and curious mindset will be advantageous.
