QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Completion of Year 12 or equivalent with good numeracy and literacy skills as well as experience in a customer
service environment.
Responsibilities:
POSITION PURPOSE (WHY DOES THIS POSITION EXIST)
To assist with maintaining the currency and accuracy of the rating related data stored in the Council’s
property system as well as provide support to the Team Leader Receivables regarding more advanced
tasks within the team.
Processing of supplementary valuations to maintain the currency and accuracy of the valuation records
and rates charges in the property system.
Review outstanding debts for debt recovery process and liaise with collection agency for appropriate
action.
To assist with other tasks including
- rating and property certificate preparation
- transfers of ownership from the Land Titles Office
- rate levy
- mobile garbage bin requests
- pension remission applications
- direct debit process
