Waracle is looking for a talented React Developer to join our friendly development team.
You must be passionate and enthusiastic about code quality and modern approaches to web application development.
You will support the front end development for digital projects, with a proven track record of writing clean, tested and maintainable code. Working in a cross-functional team of experts, you will help deliver high standards of code with the end-user in mind. You will be eager to learn and use the latest technologies, as you work on cutting edge projects. The Senior Developer will be based from any of our offices (Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow or London) in a hybrid working pattern.

As a Senior React Developer your responsibilities will include:

  • Solve complex challenges
  • Support and guide teams in system design and code review.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and drive the adoption of new technologies.
  • Agile ceremonies and resolve impediments, ensuring team alignment with Agile principles
  • Understand and interpret client requirements, manage expectations, and develop solution proposals.
  • Handle complex project scopes and adapt to scope changes effectively.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in multiple programming languages, architectures, and technologies especially in React andTypescript
  • Strong understanding of project management and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficient in version control systems and best practices.
  • Excellent client communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and mentoring others.
  • Proven ability to work in successful teams, foster collaboration, and drive innovation.

Desirable

  • Nice to have, knowledge of Playwright
