Description:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Receptionist to join our team based in our Beaulieu Inn. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a salary of £26,000.00 per annum.

As our Senior Receptionist, you will ensure that reception is running smoothly at all times and that guests that are booked into the hotel are catered for and requests are promptly dealt with.

Responsibilities:

  • General administration duties – taking reservations and deposits, dealing with enquiries etc
  • Covering Reception shifts as required
  • Liaising with our Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure all bedrooms and public areas are prepared for our guests to the highest standards
  • Dealing with customer feedback
  • Assisting the Manager with duty management shifts as required
  • Training all new staff on reception
  • Implementing all new procedures that are introduced in reception
  • Ensuring that all receptionists are following daily shift procedures and that all emails are dealt with
  • Serving drinks in the bar when required
  • Opening and locking up the hotel
  • Sleeping over in the hotel when required
  • Checking and recording swimming pool details and ensuring it is safe to use
  • Ensuring all visitors are signed in and out of the hotel
  • Balancing night audit/shift reports at the end of every shift
  • Daily/Weekly banking balancing
