Description:
SENIOR REGISTERED NURSE
- Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)
- This role will be Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.
- Service operates 24 hours, 7 days a week.
- Toro Mai a Ringa is based in Rotorua
- Pay is in line with pay equity as funded for NGO’s
Responsibilities:
In this role you utilise skills and knowledge in your chosen registered field to support the plans for whai ora within the service. This means working alongside Kaimahi (residential/peer support Workers), and Team Manager, effectively ensuring service meets whai ora outcome.
You will work directly with the whai ora, identifying strengths, goals, and issues. Along with this you will also be coordinating whai ora; entry, client pathway, reviews external client meetings as well as exit.
You will also be responsible for Whai ora audits, and across all aspects of medications, including supporting other nurses in their role, and ensuring all medication processes are followed.
