As a Senior Relationship Manager Credit, your role is to partner with Emerging Corporate customers, Relationship Managers and Product Partners to complete thorough credit assessments.

What will your day look like?

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate mastery of specialization skills and capabilities within the required domain experience of the role
Acting in the best interest of the customer and applying a customer-centric approach
Applying strong credit and industry portfolio analysis skills towards credit proposal recommendations
Managing compliance and assessing both new and existing transactions
Developing and maintaining a strong awareness of relevant industries, key trends, economic trends and market forces.
Collaborating with Relationship Managers, Product Partners and the broader credit team to structure deals.
Managing a portfolio of Emerging Corporate customers
Collaborating with Relationship Managers and Product Partners to provide customers with appropriate ANZ products and solutions
Adhering to Group Audit requirements, meeting QA and Audit compliance standards, and ensuring all matters raised are addressed in a timely and efficient manner
Working closely with lending services to minimise provisions
Building valued relationships with operations teams to build efficiencies and minimise non lending losses
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Industry experience: Current and ongoing understanding of industry trends. This includes in depth understanding of the drivers of the chosen industry, practical knowledge, market & competition factors, key customer success indicators, supplier/contract norms, credit approval drivers, and understanding of strategy application within the industry.
Customer solutioning: Supporting customers by understanding their needs and informing them about relevant products or services, and/ or providing considered options, that meet those needs.
Credit assessment and management: Assessing, advising, monitoring and/or approving a customer’s credit worthiness, credit risk and suitable credit structuring options based on internal credit policies, guidelines, scoring models and/or applying judgement based on prior experience and knowledge.
Relationship management: building, maintaining and influencing relationships to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Coaching: helping people move from where they are to where they want to be through the use of effective coaching techniques and strategies.
Portfolio management: Selection, prioritisation and management of a portfolio of work and/ or customers in line with its strategic objectives and capacity to deliver. The goal is to balance change initiatives and business-as-usual while optimising return on investment.
Business Analysis: Translating business requirements into solutions by understanding needs, feasibility and impact.
Compliance and Policy Management: Identifying and interpreting applicable laws, rules, codes and standards to create and/or manage policies, processes and procedures, including how these are organised, reviewed and communicated.
