Role and Responsibilities:
As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with the biggest and most important travel agencies around the world offering them one of the best payment solutions in the travel industry and making them feel that travel payments are easy, seamless, efficient, and beneficial.
What will you achieve?
- Establish and maintain mutually beneficial and profitable relationships with existing customers, partners, and key industry stockholders, resulting in strong customer growth rates and negligible customer attrition.
- Partnering with the Sabre Virtual Payments team including working with Commercial, Implementations, Partnerships, business finance, Product, the wider Sabre Global Distribution System sales teams, and account managers.
- Deliver strong performance results in line with agreed revenue and spend targets, and overall SVP strategy. This includes being able to provide management with clarity as to the performance and results arising from your activities. Ensure all activity is captured in the chosen SVP CRM tool.
- Ensure quality and timeliness of business development activities including internal activity reporting, external presentation, contractual commitments, and key client success criteria.
- Provide feedback and insight into Sabre Virtual Payments; Identify existing competitors and provide insight into their competitive position within the marketplaces we operate.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Must-Have Skills:
- You must be dynamic, friendly, not afraid to challenge the status quo, cooperative, energetic, and, above all, you must possess a great sense of humor.
- Proven Relationship Management experience with a demonstrable record of achievement
- Deep knowledge of the travel payments industry
- Good understanding of the Travel Industry and the GDSs dynamics.
- Working experience with Online, Leisure, and Business travel agencies.
- Strategic and Analytical thinking with Strong qualitative and quantitative skills
- Consulting, Project, and program management skills and experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with senior team members and customers – including at C Level.
- Polished sales, contractual, negotiation skills, and closing ability.
- Exceptional communication & presentation ability
- Must be willing to travel at short notice globally, to attend amongst others, client visits and represent Sabre Virtual Payments at industry trade events.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel knowledge.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, and Engineering.
- Multilingual: Main Language: English. Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese are a plus.
