As a Senior Corporate Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing a dynamic and complex portfolio of property customers with the view of growing our presence in the market. We are looking to recruit a team player, who is highly self-motivated and will proactively drive best customer outcomes.

This role requires a Senior Relationship Manager with astute business judgement and the ability to see the big picture from a strategic and execution standpoint.

  • providing ongoing quality service, customer advice and financial solutions through timely, quality engagement and conversations.
  • maintaining a detailed understanding of the strategic priorities of each customer to develop detailed account plans.
  • building a thorough knowledge of Westpac’s products and services and recognising opportunities to increase product penetration with existing customers.
  • identifying new to bank opportunities in target markets and originating sustainable new business.
  • being the industry specialist in your local market, own the credibility of our brand and profile within the customer portfolio and local area, actively engaging key customer and influencer stakeholders.
  • maintaining the highest standards of credit analysis, monitoring, and portfolio management, providing the first line of defence against credit loss.

Na tōu rourou | What will you bring?

  • Strong understanding of the corporate business sector (including financial products and services) with 7+ years’ experience as a Relationship Banker/Manager or equivalent.
  • You will have a strong presence in the Property Finance market and can communicate with credibility.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Property Finance customer segment and proven experience in implementing channel and customer engagement strategies.
  • Proven extensive Banking experience including leveraged and syndicated transactions.
  • Strong ability to analyse complex financial statements, assess creditworthiness, and structure financial transactions to make informed recommendations.
  • Sound knowledge of product and pricing, compliance, and credit risk processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills.
  • Highly developed business insight and acumen, effectively acting on and communicating your knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of AML, CFT, and CCCFA regulations.
  • Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
