POSITION OVERVIEW:

This role is pivotal in delivering an exceptional banking experience, fostering lasting relationships with customers by providing comprehensive products and services from Broadway Bank. As a subject matter expert, this position serves as a valuable resource to the Financial Center team, ensuring that all customer needs are met effectively and efficiently.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • 4+ years in the financial services industry, encompassing new accounts and consumer loans experience.
  • Demonstrated sales and service experience with proven success in establishing and meeting sales goals.
  • High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in consultative sales techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and other banking software.
  • Knowledge of banking compliance and regulatory standards.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must meet and maintain financial responsibility, character, and general fitness standards, along with all established requirements for an individual Loan Originator in accordance with Regulation Z. Completion and successful passing of pre-employment testing is required.
  • Registration and maintenance as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) in accordance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (the S.A.F.E. Act) is mandatory.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as 10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
  • Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Financial Center team members to deliver outstanding service, ensuring that established goals are met.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to recommend appropriate products and services, addressing both stated and unstated customer needs.
  • Identify and escalate referral opportunities to the appropriate specialist partners, ensuring timely follow-up and comprehensive service delivery.
  • Facilitate seamless relationship management by introducing customers to relevant team members.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the bank’s full suite of products and services to provide accurate recommendations and referrals.
  • Actively participate in campaigns and promotions, completing assigned activities and scheduling follow-up tasks.
  • Effectively use EnAct to capture client information, track activities, schedule follow-ups, and identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Conduct new customer and new account onboarding activities in accordance with established procedures.
  • Support the Financial Center Manager in day-to-day sales and service operations, serving as a subject matter expert in financial center operations.
  • Assist with scheduling financial center staff and may conduct observations and provide coaching to Relationship Bankers.
  • Complete monthly audit duties and ensure adherence to safety, security, and compliance protocols in all transactions.
  • Perform account openings, customer maintenance, and loan application processing to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Process various customer transactions, including cash handling and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Model Broadway Bank’s values and foster engagement among Financial Center team members.
  • Pursue self-development opportunities and maintain a proactive approach to learning and growth.
  • This position may require travel within the Bank’s geographic area.
  • Must be able to work onsite, as working remotely is not an option for this position.
