We’re looking for a seasoned and driven sales professional with a passion for thriving in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. With hands-on experience in solar or heat pump sales, you’ll be comfortable conducting in-home surveys and crafting designs that impress customers.
Your enthusiasm for providing top-tier, sustainable, and energy-efficient solutions will shine through as you help domestic customers on their decarbonisation journey. You’ll be dedicated to delivering outstanding service from start to finish.
As a collaborative team player, you support your colleagues in the Commercial team and work seamlessly with Operational and Design stakeholders to ensure excellence throughout the installation process.

Essentials:

  • Proven Success: A strong track record in premium sales, with essential knowledge of Air Source Heat Pump or Solar sales.
  • Closing Skills: Expertise in closing deals effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional skills in building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent telephone manner and in-person consultative sales abilities.
  • Technical Know-How: A keen interest in learning and explaining technical product details to prospects.
  • Negotiation: Strong written and verbal negotiation skills.
  • Deadline-Driven: Ability to meet deadlines and thrive under pressure.
  • Pipeline Management: Efficient management of your sales pipeline.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with the team and independently when needed.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to customer sites, our offices, and attend events as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Hit Sales Targets: Consistently achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Grow the Pipeline: Drive the expansion of Good Energy’s Services Domestic pipeline, focusing on both Solar and Heat solutions.
  • Convert Leads: Engage with inbound domestic leads generated by our marketing efforts and turn them into satisfied customers.
  • Build Customer Relationships: Guide prospects through the entire solar and heat pump journey, from initial discussions to final commissioning.
  • Prospect New Customers: Proactively seek out new customers via phone, email, industry events, and by managing our CRM system.
  • Provide Post-Sale Support: Collaborate with our Operations team to ensure a seamless installation process, delivering top-notch customer service.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest Solar and Heat Pump product specs through ongoing training and development.
  • Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent and promote the Good Energy brand at customer-facing events with enthusiasm and professionalism.
