Under the supervision of the Group Manager, the Repair Technician’s main role is to analyze, repair and calibrate units that have been returned for repair. In some cases, the Repair Technician will also provide estimates and offer alternatives or make suggestions to customers via our Customer Service or Technical Support personnel.
The Repair Technician will also be responsible for documenting the repairs he/she has made, as well as ensuring that applicable repair procedures are followed, that units are returned within the appropriate timeframe, and that customers are satisfied with the repair/calibration service.
When required, the technician will also be expected to perform any other task related to this position.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Knowledge of optical and electronic components
  • Excellent understanding of analogue and digital electronic circuitry and technologies
  • Capability to quickly and efficiently diagnose the cause of faults in electronic and electro-optical equipment
  • Knowledge of SAP, Excel, Word and Windows will be considered assets
