Senior Report Developer (SQL, data analytics, and Power BI)

This role requires strong SQL, data analytics, and Power BI skills to transform complex data into actionable insights.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation (e.g., Oracle, MS-SQL).
• Knowledge of data mining, statistical analysis, and modeling techniques.
• Ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Experience with Power BI and other data visualization tools.
• Creative thinking in data analytics, predictive modeling, and integration.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Experience with analytics tools like R, SPSS, or SAS.
• Familiarity with programming languages.
• Awareness of emerging Business Intelligence trends.

GENERAL SKILLS:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and consulting skills.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in documentation and process flow creation.
  Job Type: Fixed term contract
  Pay: $70.00-$85.00 per hour

Experience:

• Familiarity with programming languages.: 2 years (preferred)
• SQL for data manipulation (e.g., Oracle, MS-SQL): 5 years (required)
• Power BI and other data visualization tools.: 2 years (required)
• data analytics, predictive modeling, and integration: 2 years (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M5V 1R

• Lead development and delivery of analytics to support decision-making.
• Assess current analytics capabilities and identify improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate decision-making and manage client expectations.
• Execute analytics initiatives, including reporting and data set delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create Business Intelligence solutions.
• Build and communicate clear, unbiased data models and visuals.
• Advise clients on transforming analytics into actionable insights.
• Analyze data quality and address issues like missing or duplicate data.
• Participate in documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
