Description:
FINANCE…
The Finance team is multifaceted, holding different responsibilities across the different countries we operate in. There is a centralised team, as well as several different Financial Controllers that operate within their respective territories. Finance is the overarching team in charge of setting budgets across all other departments, and of ensuring cash flow meets expected operating costs.
Finance is also in charge of forecasting, and of ensuring the timely payment of contractors and other third parties. The central team can help local House Operations teams establish best practices for financial control and reporting. The central finance team consolidates all reporting to produce one global view of business performance. This is regularly communicated to senior management and quarterly to the market. With the help of Legal, the team also makes sure that Soho House meets the requirements of VAT, payroll tax and corporation tax in different jurisdictions.
