Responsibilities:

The Community and Primary Care Research Group (CPCRG) professional services team are seeking to appoint a Senior Research Administrator. The role holder will be responsible for the delivery and continuous development of a customer focused, cost effective and efficient research administrative support service.
You will be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment and will provide administrative support across multiple projects and functions to meet the needs of CPCRG.
As a Research Administrator across CPCRG, you will report to the Research Group Co-ordinator(s) and will develop close working relationships with academic and departmental colleagues at all levels to provide advice, support and signposting from pre and post award stages of research grants, right through to dissemination and implementation activities. This will include liaising with key collaborators, funders and other third parties to build and maintain strong relationships to ensure successful delivery of a variety of health services research projects.
You will work closely with the Research Group Co-ordinator to support both individual research projects as well as assisting with the overall coordination of the group.
You will hold numeracy and literacy at secondary education level (or demonstrable equivalent experience) along with having educational attainment at further education level (or demonstrable equivalent experience). You will be required to have excellent and proven working knowledge/training Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint and databases and hold a relevant administrative qualification/training or demonstrable experience. CPCRG require someone who can work both independently and as part of a team.

This is a part-time position working 29.6 hours per week on a fixed-term basis to cover a period of maternity leave from the 1st April 2025 until the 30th April 2026.

For this role, you will need to be on site 2 days a week. Although we can acommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.
