JOB TITLE: SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST – UNIVERSAL PICTURES GROUP

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in a business related or math discipline
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a data management or marketing analytics role
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a broader and cross-functional Data Platform Management team on various projects
  • Experience in working with data from various media channels including digital, search engine marketing, social, and traditional
  • Experience in conducting a business analysis to collect requirements from non-technical stakeholders, while managing their expectations at the same time
  • Experience in communicating technical terms to non-technical people, and helping them understand why change is required to achieve a specific goal or to complete a project
  • Knowledge of media analytics concepts, syndicated media data sources, third party ad serving platforms, and media buying platforms would be beneficia

Responsibilities:

  • Support media planning with analysis and audience research
  • Build and maintain data workflow as well as organize data in easy-to-digest dashboards (Data Studio) and reports
  • Report performance insights in support of in-market tactics and campaign-level optimization
  • Understand the current reporting process and work out ways to optimize and enhance regular campaign report deliverables
  • Gather reporting requirements to develop and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports & insights
  • Project management for cross-media brand study and measurement
  • Develop measurement strategy recommendations and new media offerings POVs
  • Collect online and offline media delivery and performance data from ad servers or other third-party sources
  • Assist with the development of a measurement and learning plan, including establishing campaign performance benchmarks, goals, and projections
  • Analyze and interpret information from multiple data sources
  • Develop meaningful insights for regular campaign performance reports associated with client goals
  • Manage the development of tagging strategy and matrix
  • Coordinate with Ad Operations for the development and distribution of tracking tags and other measurement and tracking technology
  • Must be comfortable presenting analyzed data and research findings confidently to both internal teams and clients on a regular basis.
