Responsibilities:
As a Senior Research Analyst PFAS, you will be a coach on the work floor for your colleagues in the team, a group of around 6 BSc-educated analysts. This makes you the senior research analyst we’re seeking.
Additionally, you will:
- Be involved in method development, optimization, and validation for PFAS in a wide variety of food and feed materials, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs);
- Work with the best LC-MS equipment in the Netherlands!
- Be part of the crisis service conducting PFAS research for the NVWA;
- Analyze results, interpret, report, and proactively discuss them in collaboration with experts and project teams, including recommendations for next steps;
- Be responsible for critically evaluating equipment, methods, and techniques, and you are expected to proactively make improvement suggestions;
- Participate in routine and research projects, as well as perform ad hoc support analyses under the ISO 17025 quality assurance system;
- Writing publications and giving presentations at conferences is also possible.

In addition to these first-rate employee benefits, you will of course receive a good salary. We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between €3283,- and €4687,- for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 9). Additionally, a contract for 32 hours a week can be discussed. As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended - if possible within (company) organizational circumstances - on good performance.
