Role Summary
MetaPhase is seeking a Senior Research Analyst with 10+ years’ work experience supporting projects at the national level in risk identification, analysis/assessment, and mitigation in Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience. This role will be to support a National Security agency to understand technologies and associated risks to the 16 critical infrastructure sectors, identify and analyze risks, develop methodologies to produce analytical risk products, and stakeholder engagement to share information across private industry and Federal, State and Local governments.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU (REQUIRED)

  • A minimum of 10 or more years of direct experience in supporting risk management projects, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in an engineering field (e.g., systems, nuclear, biochemical, civil, or chemical), operations research, and/or advanced computing (to include but not limited to AI, Cybersecurity, or IT)
  • Experience in risk identification, analysis/assessment, and mitigation in Critical Infrastructure Security and Resilience.
  • Demonstrated experience and significant knowledge of CI systems, operations, dependencies, and interdependencies in one or more of the 16 Critical Infrastructure (CI) sectors as outlined in NSM-22 (e.g. Food and Agricultural Sector, Critical Manufacturing Sector, Healthcare, Public Health Sector, etc.) or Supply Chain expertise.
  • Proficiency in applying ERM concepts and frameworks, including COSO and ISO.
  • Experience with creating high quality deliverables using Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently; the ability to drive and own tasks are preferred.

EDUCATION LEVEL

Master’s Degree in engineering sciences disciplines

Responsibilities:

  • Support the development, maturation, and implementation of risk registers and risk register governance in the public and private sectors.
  • Support the application of enterprise risk management concepts and frameworks to critical infrastructure sectors.
  • Provide planning support, including strategic planning and program management.
  • Conduct analytical writing and data visualization.
